"My first back issue began when I was 26 years old and lasted 10 years of MRIs, doctor appointments, missed work, and lots of tears. I would get better for a short time, only to be hurt again. About two half years ago, I heard about Strive and Carri. I was in the midst of another span of severe back pain. Working full time and a mom of two younger children, I was ready to commit and try something different. I had nothing to lose! "I came to Strive to treat an impinged shoulder. I had seen a doctor for 5 months who never even touched my shoulder. He said to rest it and gave me different prescriptions that did nothing. I asked him about physical therapy and he said it was up to me. A friend recommended Carrie. Carrie made in depth assessment of my needs. She met one on one and gave me at home expercises. She continued to monitor month to month individually and in group sessions. The progress is evident. She monitors me every time I’m in a group setting and gives me monthly manuals to assess progress.
